To administer the email accounts for your domain please go to http://www.ipoint-tech.com/email and log in with the email address and password that has been assigned as an administrator. If you are unsure which email address has been assigned as administrator or if you have any other questions please call: (970) 266-0703
Once you have logged on, you will see a dropdown box in the upper right hand portion of the screen. Select “User Administration” from this dropdown and the user administration page will appear. You can select from a list of the current email accounts you have by using the dropdown under User Administration. Once an account is selected, you can delete it, change the password or modify the account info with the buttons below the dropdown. To add a user, click the “Add” button and fill out the form to add the account. The number of accounts you can add is limited by your hosting package. Please call us if you need more accounts than your package allows.
DO NOT DELETE THE SYSTEM ACCOUNTS!
There may be several accounts on your domain that are used for website and administration purposes. All of these accounts begin with the word “web” such as webform, webmaster, webmarket and so on. These accounts should not be deleted or changed as this may result in email delivery or website service interruption. These accounts DO NOT count toward your total number of email addresses on your hosting package.
If You Have Mail Armory:
You will need to log into Mail Armory and adjust the list of users to match the accounts you have added and or deleted. To do so, go to www.mailarmory.com and log in with your email address and email password. Click on “My Settings” at the top of the screen. Then click on “Administer Other Accounts” at the bottom of the screen. Click your domain name under Domain Management. Now click “Adjust Domain Settings”. Click the “Address resolution settings” link. Scroll down the page and find the list of account names. Each name is repeated twice next to each other. Make sure you add and subtract any users according to what you changed. Make sure that the user names match in the text boxes that are next to each other. When you are done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Save Settings” button. Now click “Log Out” at the top of the screen.
